Payment information

The surgical fee is required to be paid in full seven days prior to surgery.
Failure to pay the surgical fee will result in surgery being cancelled.

Payment method: Debit/Credit card (we accept Visa and Mastercard), cash in person or contact us regarding bank details for direct deposit.

The consultation and quote are valid for 6 months.
OPGs are valid for approximately 6 months from the time the x-ray was taken.

Cancellation Policy

If less than seven days' notice is given, a cancellation fee of 50% of the surgical fee will apply.

Hospital Fee

Please check with your health fund regarding any out-of-pocket expenses for your hospital admission.

Anaesthetic Fee

There will also be a fee payable to your anaesthetist. Please check with the anaesthetist's rooms regarding the fee for your procedure.

Preparing for your oral surgery

  • Make arrangements for someone to drive you to and from the hospital.
  • Bring something to occupy your time e.g. book or tablet.
  • Leave all valuables at home.
  • Have a shower and wash your hair on the morning of your surgery.
  • All facial hair must be clean shaven (no beard or moustache).
  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Remove all make-up, jewellery and facial / oral piercings on the day of surgery.
  • If you are from rural WA, we recommend that you stay in Perth over night before and after the surgery.

Sinus precautions

  • Post-operative sinus precautions are essential to promote healing and reduce the risk of complications after closure of an oro-antral communication and/or surgery within the maxillary sinus.
  • No forceful nose blowing.
  • Avoid sneezing whilst closing nose and mouth.
  • Avoid drinking through a straw.
  • Avoid straining and heavy lifting.
  • Use a nasal decongestant spray as required.
  • Rest with your head elevated when possible.
  • Avoid playing a wind / brass instrument.
  • Avoid air travel, swimming and diving.
  • No smoking or vaping.

These instructions should be followed for 2-3 weeks post operatively.

What we need from you:

  • Referral letter including your provider number (please see example below)
  • Up to date OPG

A good referral letter has:  

  • Date
  • Patients complete contact details (name, phone, email)
  • Details of what the surgeon needs to do

A good OPG:

  • Is less than 6 months old
  • Shows the date it was taken
  • Has the patient identifier
  • Clearly shows left and right for orientation
